“Nancy Krebs, Heather Burgess, and Mackenzie Koehne give the Witches a sinister rhythm, moving and speaking as though weaving a spell.”

“Burgess gives a practicality to Lady Macduff, resigned to never seeing her husband and trying to reconcile her son (Brandon Doyle) to this idea, before shrieking at her terrible fate.”

“Nancy Krebs, Heather Burgess, and Mackenzie Koehne were captivating and mesmerizing as the witches, projecting evil through their physicality and expressions. They delivered their malevolent incantations with incredible interpretations.”

Meet Heather Burgess

Heather Burgess is a New York based actor ready to expand her classical theatre training onto the camera.

She recently closed Macbeth at The Classical Theatre of Maryland, and had a video from her film reel go viral-with almost a million views.

Her classical training is from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta where she studied and acted alongside Georgia Shakespeare. She has continued her training with the Kimball Studio for film, The Shakespeare Forum, and The Acting Studio for Meisner training.

Heather has always been drawn to this industry which allows her to tell stories that impact, evolve, and question the world. She is ready to play your up and coming nurse, psychology student, or pre-med resident; and the girlfriend of an addict who wants to change the world. Imagine if Natalie Portman and Rachel Brosnahan had a younger sister-that would be her.

After moving to the city she booked her first AEA staged reading produced by Bruce Willis and directed by Richard Caliban. She has started her film career by working on an NYU thesis film, a Harvard graduate’s film, and the lead in a sizzle reel about the lack of prosecution of sexual assaults with Nazza Productions.

She is also extremely passionate about mental health awareness among fellow actors and artists, focusing on eating disorders and disordered eating.
